What does it mean to be part of the winner Triumph Racing Australia Team?

It means the world to me to have an opportunity to be a part of such a great team to race motocross for 2025.

What advice would you give to aspiring motocross riders who want to go pro?

Keep working hard and don’t make shortcuts and believe in yourself.

What makes the new triumph dirt bikes stand out from the competition?

They are ready to race straight out of the box and you don’t need to set up anything on it.

What are some key features that riders should be excited about?

The built in mapping on the 450 you can change to 10 different maps straight from your phone changing the power output.

What makes Sqwincher different from other hydration drinks on the market?

It tastes really good

JACK SIMPSON #17

What are some of the biggest challenges in professional motocross racing?

The amount of sacrifices and injuries that come with it.

How do you approach bike setup and adjustments for different track conditions?

I have this feeling on a bike that I always chase whether it’s any different brand, if I have that and feel comfortable with a bike and know what it will do in certain situations. That is what I look for in the Setup.

How was the development process for triumph’s new motocross bikes?

We are still working on it. I missed the mark at the first round due to being a bit soft suspension wise but that has nothing to do with the triumph bike that was just personal preference.

What kind of rider is the triumph dirt bike best suited for?

Triumph has a rich history with motorcycles, they sure know how to screw one together for bringing this one as their first generation out. They are very impressive. Best suited for motocross style riders and off-road

What flavors are the team’s favorites of Sqwincher?

We like the lemon because it matches our Bikes

CONNAR ADAMS #19

How do you prepare mentally and physically for a race?

Preparing physically is the easy part, a consistent training throughout the week either out on the track, or in the gym gets you quite ready come race weekend with a proper program. Mentally is more difficult however, but through a lot of self belief and the having that mid week training to fall back on when your not feeling up to par, really reinforces the mindset to win and to trust your gut to keep it moving!

What’s the most important skill a motocross rider needs to master?

To understand mistakes are going to happen and when they do, acknowledge them but move on quickly and not let one mistake turn into another and another.

What’s been the team’s feedback on the performance of these bikes?

The overall power delivery and performance has been so good, the engine is very strong and with its unique gearbox to pair really keeps the bike and the pulling power area of the motor, not to mention the awesome KYB suspension keep that power delivery to the ground smooth and fast.

What has been the most exciting part of bringing triumph into motocross?

What hasn’t been, it’s a new brand, new bike to everyone, and we can’t wait to help show off this amazing machine to the motocross fan base of dirt-bikes.

How often should riders be hydrating before, during, and after a race?

All the time as already known how important hydration is, I’ll have a bottle of water about 600ml before and after every ride.

TY KEAN #38

What’s your favorite track to race on, and why?

Probably Maitland, I like the hard pack and have had some good results there.

How has the sport evolved over the years, and where do you see it heading?

The sport seems like it’s in a good place at the moment and is continuing to grow which is great to see. Both the Promx and Australian supercross series seem to be getting better each year and I’m looking forward to watching the progression over the years to come.

How does the triumph motocross bike handle in different terrain conditions?

I’ve found it’s really compliant, predictable and you can place it wherever you want it to go in all conditions from beach sand to dirt that’s borderline concrete.

How important is proper hydration for motocross riders?

Proper hydration especially on race day is super important, cramps are one of the last things you want whilst riding

Does the team have any specific hydration strategies they follow on race weekends?

They always have a slab of water and some Sqwincher qwik sticks in the truck which is super handy.

A huge thank you to the Australian Triumph Racing Team for taking the time to chat with us and share their thoughts on the exciting new range of Triumph dirt bikes. It’s clear that a lot of passion, innovation, and hard work has gone into bringing these machines to life, and we’re stoked to see what’s next for the team and the brand. We appreciate the behind-the-scenes insight and wish them all the best for the upcoming season—no doubt they’ll be making waves both on and off the track!
